Pergo serves redundancy notices in Trelleborg and Perstorp

Pergo serves redundancy notices in Trelleborg and Perstorp As a part of the action program announced earlier by Pergo, the current organisation is subject for a review. Totally a reduction of above 100 employees within the group will take place. Today a redundancy notice at Pergo (Europe) AB in Trelleborg and Pergo Declam AB in Perstorp have been handed over to the Regional Employment Board. For the unit in Trelleborg the redundancy notice will cover 7 employees. In December 15 employees were noticed within other functions in the same company. At the unit in Perstorp the notice will cover 23 employees and during the first quarter of the year will, besides that approx. 20 temporary employed, leave the unit. Negotiations with union representatives have been initiated. Also in the production unit in Garner (USA) a reduction in manning will shortly take place. Before the redundancy notice the number of employed at Pergo (Europe) AB in Trelleborg is 300 and at Pergo Declam AB in Perstorp 200.
