Pergo undergoing action plan to sharply improve profitability In line with Pergo AB's previously announced plans to reduce more than 100 employees worldwide, 21 North American employees have been notified at the American subsidiary, Pergo, Inc., that their positions have been eliminated. The staff reductions affect employees throughout the organization including marketing, manufacturing, administration, and human resources. The above reduction is in addition to eight positions that were eliminated at the end of 2001 taking the total number of reductions at Pergo Inc. to 29 employees. After the reductions, the total number of employees at Pergo Inc. will be 254.
