Additional U.S. installations and new order from Codonics
Pharmacolog’s partner, Codonics Inc. is installing WasteLog™ in two new hospital sites and placed another order to for eight Pharmacolog WasteLog™ units to be shipped immediately.
Pharmacolog’s exclusive distributor and strategic partner Codonics, Cleveland, Ohio has recently installed a WasteLog™ device at a leading hospital in Arkansas and will soon install four additional units in a prominent Northern California healthcare system. Codonics has also ordered eight additional WasteLog™ units from Pharmacolog for immediate delivery.
Drug diversion in healthcare is a pervasive problem. Every institution is vulnerable to diversion and must have a robust program to address it. An important part of such a program is an efficient and reliable waste screening process. The interest in assay devices used for waste screening of narcotic substances is steadily growing and as a result, Pharmacolog and Codonics are experiencing an increased demand for WasteLog™.
