Great interest in PrepLog™ at GERPAC
The GERPAC organization is currently holding its annual conference in Hyères, France. GERPAC work towards safe handling of toxic drugs and where quality control of prepared cytotoxic drugs a major and important part. Pharmacolog exhibits together at GERPAC with Pharmed SAM and presents the PrepLog™ concept for the first time.
GERPAC (Group of Evaluation and Research for Protection in Areas Under Control) was founded in 1998 and consists of hospital pharmacists, university teachers and researchers with the aim of promoting the techniques and skills required to prepare toxic drugs in a safe way for both staff and patients. A great deal of focus is placed on sharing knowledge and best practice in procedures for the preparation of sterile and non-sterile medications. The 2019 conference is the 22nd in order and is attended by over 400 delegates from mainly France. PrepLog™ from Pharmacolog - which is being shown for the first time on GERPAC - enables a unique quality control of prepared toxic drugs, fully integrated with the prescription system used at the clinic.
