Pharmacolog release software version 4.7
Pharmacolog has today approved DrugLog® and WasteLog® software version 4.7 for official release. The software has undergone extensive development and includes several new features and improved workflow. The software improves user experience, workflows, quality control of reference measurements, and integration of Codonics SLS.
The new software improves user experience, simplifies workflow, and introduces quality control of reference measurements. Something that will further simplify the handling of the system. A reliable reference measurement is vital for ensuring the robustness and high accuracy that both DrugLog® and WasteLog® offers. By implementing an intelligent control of the latest valid reference measurement, the risk of missing this important step is practically reduced to zero.
The new software has also complete capability to interpret the codes provided by the Codonics Safe Label System (SLS). Codonics SLS is an award-winning and widespread solution to improve medication safety and efficiency. In short, the SLS secures the workflow when medications are prepared and used, and WasteLog® when medications are discarded. The combination provides an end-to-end control from preparation to waste, which enhances patient security and provides a robust, proven, and modern approach fight drug diversion.

By a quick scan of the SLS code all necessary information is gathered and sets up the WasteLog with almost all information needed for a complete measurement. The quality control of reference measurements is another awaited feature that will benefit the customer greatly by increasing accuracy and comfort in their measurements.
