PETROLIA DRILLING ASA- OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reference is made to the announcement by PetroMENA
ASA dated 13 June 2008 regarding the completion of
a private placement of 13,430,000 new shares
(corresponding to a share capital increase of
9.99%) at a subscription price of NOK 18.10 per
share, to fund the construction of PetroMENA`s
three state of the art 6th generation
semisubmersible drilling rigs at the Jurong
Shipyard in Singapore.

Petrolia Drilling ASA has been allocated 6,812,000
shares in the PetroMENA private placement,
corresponding to an allocation amount of
123.297.200.

Following registration of the new shares to be
issued in the PetroMENA private placement, Petrolia
Drilling ASA will increase its number of shares in
PetroMena ASA from 68,163,951 to 74.978.951, while
Petrolia Drilling`s ownership in PetroMENA will
remain at approximately 50.74 % of the outstanding
shares and votes in PetroMENA.
