TIRmed Pharma Changes Its Name to Pharmability
TIRmed Pharma, a biotechnology company developing next-generation treatments for autoimmune skin diseases, today announced that it has changed its name to Pharmability AB. The name change reflects the company’s development in recent years and marks a new step in its strategic direction.

Over the past few years, the company has evolved from an early-stage research initiative into a biotechnology company focused on translating immunological research into new therapies for patients with autoimmune diseases. This progression has made the need for a name that better reflects the company’s focus and long-term vision increasingly clear.
The new name, Pharmability, reflects the company’s core mission to advance pharmaceutical discovery, translate scientific research into clinical application, and create tangible value for patients, partners, and society.
The previous name, TIRmed Pharma, served the company well during earlier stages of development. As the company is now fully focused on developing medicines for human use, management and the Board have concluded that a new name better communicates the company’s purpose and international ambitions.
Leo Holmgren, CEO, commented: “Pharmability marks a new chapter for the company. The name captures our ambition to translate immunological research into new therapies and create value for patients as we enter the next phase.”
The company will continue to operate from Stockholm, Sweden. The name change does not affect the company’s ongoing development programs or collaboratio
