Oslo, Norway, 9 March 2005.

PhotoCure ASA announces today that a nomination committee has been established according to the instructions from the general assembly held on April 15th, 2004.

The nomination committee consists of:

 -         Jónas Einarsson, Executive Director, The Norwegian Radium Hospital Research Foundation

-         John Harald Henriksen, Executive Vice President, Ferd Invest

-         Tharald Brøvig, Investor, Gezina AS

According to the instructions from the general assembly, Erik Engebretsen, chairman of PhotoCure's board of directors is appointed as secretary for the committee.

The nomination committee's duties are to propose candidates for election to the board of directors and to propose the fees to be paid to the board members.

The nomination committee held its first meeting today and elected Jónas Einarsson as chairman.
