PhotoCure is pleased to announce that it has received the 2003 Award for Design Excellence for its activating light source, Aktilite CL128 for the treatment of skin cancer and other skin diseases. The Award for Design Excellence is granted by the Norwegian Design Council and is the leading award for design in Norway. Its purpose is to stimulate the industry to use design as an important tool in product development and market communication.

The decision of the jury is based on the functional, technical, economical and aesthetic aspects of the products, in addition to marketing and environmental regards.
