Kubek Brings 30 Plus Years of Experience in Business, Real Estate and Politics

(October 9, 2012) Dallas, Texas - Halftime, a faith-based organization that assists marketplace leaders in translating their “first half” successes into “second half” significance, announced today that Ron Kubek has been named Director of Global Business Development effective immediately. Kubek will be responsible for managing and growing the Halftime affiliate program, both domestically and internationally, for the Dallas-based organization.

Kubek spent 26 years in real estate as a realtor, office owner, trainer, speaker and franchisor. He founded Keller Williams Realty Canada and recruited and trained agents, growing the business to 13 offices before selling his majority share. Kubek also exhibited his natural leadership through deep involvement in local Canadian politics from 1985 to 2011.

Kubek has done extensive mission work for Hope for the Nations Romania and Firm Foundations Romania, along with Habitat for Humanity in various countries, and at local churches in Canada and the United States. He attended the Halftime Institute in 2010 and consulted for the organization on several projects before accepting the call to be a full-time leader for Halftime.

“Our mission is to help business leaders identify their passions and develop a path to put them into action for the benefit of God’s Kingdom,” said Dean Niewolny, chief executive officer at Halftime. “In order to be the most effective, we must understand our participant’s background and the challenges they face. Ron’s experience building his business—and his strong faith—makes him a uniquely talented addition to our management team. I look forward to the impact that he will have.”

“I am blessed to be a part of Halftime,” said Kubek. “The organization has helped me through my transition from success to significance and I am excited to work with current and future affiliates to help our clients also have a meaningful second half.”
