Change in Pihlajalinna Plc’s Management Team

Pihlajalinna’s Head of HR and General Counsel Pauliina Rannikko has resigned from the company’s service and will move on to new challenges outside of Pihlajalinna. Rannikko has worked at Pihlajalinna since 2017. She will continue in her current position and remain in the Management Team until 14 December 2018.

Marko Savolainen, Master of Laws with court training, has been appointed as General Counsel at Pihlajalinna. Savolainen will start in his new role and join the Group Management Team on 14 December 2018.

Savolainen has been working as a Legal Counsel at Pihlajalinna since the beginning of 2017. Before that he worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Metsähallitus from 2008 to 2016. Savolainen has also worked for eight years in a law firm and, before that, in the district court.

“I wish to thank Pauliina warmly for her contribution in the development of Pihlajalinna’s HR and legal processes as well as her contribution in building up a new operating and management structure for Pihlajalinna during 2018. The cooperation with Pauliina has been excellent and I wish her every success for the future. I am also glad to welcome Marko as our new General Counsel. He has strong expertise in legal matters relating to public procurement,” says Joni Aaltonen, CEO of the Pihlajalinna Group.

Pihlajalinna will start the recruitment process for a new Head of HR.
