Pihlajalinna to purchase Caritas Lääkärit Oy in Oulu

Pihlajalinna Terveys Oy, a subsidiary of Pihlajalinna Plc, has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of the entire share capital of Caritas Lääkärit Oy in Oulu from its current owners. The principal owner of the company is the non-profit Caritas foundation that operates in Oulu. The transaction will be completed on 15 August 2017 at the latest.

Caritas Lääkärit provides occupational healthcare and private clinic services in Oulu and Raahe. With this acquisition, Pihlajalinna wants to gain a better standing in the occupational healthcare market in Oulu and Raahe and facilitate the launch of its new private clinic in Oulu.
