The Board of Directors of Pilotfish Networks AB, one of Europe’s leading providers of cloud-based system solutions for public transport, has appointed Marcus Berglund as the new CEO of the company. After a year of successful turnaround, the German principal owner, the global technology company Voith, and Pilotfish jointly decided the change in management to support the planned expansion of the company. Therefore, former Interim CEO Magnus Andersson is stepping down from day-to-day operations.

Pilotfish has had a great opportunity during the pandemic to improve many of its products and processes, as well as work closer with many of its customers. Now Pilotfish will move into the next phase of growth, implementing its new strategic plan. “The principal owner Voith will continue to invest in Pilotfish, both as an investor and with competence. Pilotfish can therefore focus on new and innovative services for the public transport industry”, says Chairman Benedikt Hofmann. The companies will within shortly show interesting offerings, built for scale and ready for global rollout.

Marcus brings extensive experience from connected vehicles and fleet management, most recently from AddSecure Smart Transport, as Vice President of Product and Technology. Other previous positions include Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product Management in companies such as Vehicle Communications (Vehco) and Ericsson's Connected Vehicle Cloud. Marcus has a strong technical background and extensive knowledge in software, telematics and connected industries/IoT, as well as passion for the business it enables.

Marcus Berglund comments, "I am excited to join and lead the continued journey of Pilotfish, as the company sits right at the center of innovative technology, in an industry which is shifting towards green transport and electromobility. With Pilotfish's experience in digitalization of public transport, and a global reach through the Voith network, I am convinced we will make great impact with our new planned solutions".
