Pingdom releases free WordPress plugin for Real User Monitoring
Pingdom has today introduced a free plugin for WordPress that makes it easy for anyone to add support for Real User Monitoring (RUM) to their WordPress site.
WordPress is the most popular Content Management System (CMS) in the world. Right now, close to 65 million websites run WordPress, and that’s just on WordPress.com.
Now, by adding Real User Monitoring to a WordPress site using Pingdom's brand new plugin, owners of blogs and other websites everywhere will get answers to questions like what browsers the visitors use, how many of them are using tablets or other devices, where are they located, and many more. With this information, the website owner can take the necessary steps to improve the performance of the site.
Making this plugin available to its over 300,000 customers is another example of Pingdom's quest to make the web faster and more reliable for everyone.
Real User Monitoring is available on all Pingdom's plans, including the free one.
