Mats Sundström new member of Poolia’s Board

aThe Annual General Meeting of Poolia AB (publ) today passed the following resolutions:
Election of Board Members
Board Members Margareta Barchan, Monica Caneman, Maria Lilja, Curt Lönnström and Björn Örås were re-elected and Mats Sundström was elected new Member of the Board. Mats Sundström has previously been Managing Director of a number of companies within the Kinnevik Group. Today, he manages a venture capital operation, which he combines with a small number of external board assignments of such companies as NeoNet, which engages in electronic equity trading, and chairmanship of the gambling company Unibet.
“We are truly gratified at having Mats Sundström as a Board Member,” says Björn Örås, Poolia’s Chairman and principal owner. “Mats Sundström has valuable experience that will complement the experience of the other Board Members, which will contribute to Poolia’s future development.”
Dividend
The Annual General Meeting approved the proposed dividend of SEK 0.25 per share to the shareholders. Wednesday, 13 April 2005 was set as the record date for receipt of dividends. It is estimated that VPC AB will commence distribution of the dividends on Monday, 18 April 2005.
Number of Members and Deputy Members of the Board
The Meeting resolved that the company will have six Board Members with no deputies.
Director and audit fees
Director fees were set at SEK 700,000, to be distributed among Board Members in the manner decided by the Board, and the company’s auditors will receive fees on a current account basis against invoices.
General comments
At the Meeting, it was stated that Poolia’s business trend is in line with the business plan adopted for 2005.
“We have seen a certain growth in our largest market, Sweden,” says Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Erik Strand. “Efforts to increase profitability and clarify our offering in the professional staffing segment will continue.”
