As part of the previously announced restructuring efforts, Poolia has concluded an agreement with Argo Personal Service GmbH regarding the sale of A&Z Arbeit & Zeit GmbH in Hamburg.

“This is exactly what we had been hoping for – finding a buyer who can further develop the parts of the German operations that do not belong to Poolia’s core business. Now the employees of A&Z will join a group that focuses on blue-collar staffing services, while we at Poolia can continue to concentrate on what we are good at – temporary staffing and permanent recruitment of professionals,” says Poolia’s managing director and CEO, Erik Strand. The Argo group has around 2,000 employees and 20 branch offices in Germany. “We are expanding especially within logistics and are delighted to get such a reputable company as A&Z on board,” says Argo’s managing director Marcus Schulz. The purchase documents are expected to be verified by a notary public on Friday, March 31. Poolia will continue its work on discontinuing those parts of the operations in Hamburg that are neither covered by the above transaction nor belong to the core business. This work is proceeding as planned.
