Pipetech International, a leading player in the provision of advanced and environmentally friendly water-based cleaning technologies to the oil and gas and petrochemical industries, hosted an interactive technology demonstration at its base in Portlethen earlier this week.

Pipetech works with a range of clients operating in the North Sea oil and gas and petrochemical industries, both in the UK and Norway. The demonstration and networking session hosted by Pipetech allowed guests to learn more about the company’s revolutionary pipe cleaning systems.  AquaMilling® and AquaSonic® technology allows the removal of scale, cement and various debris from pipes while negotiating multiple 90 degree  and 180 degree bends, over extended distances, using high pressure water technology, which helps Pipetech’s clients improve safety, reduce shutdown time and, in turn, costs.

The demonstration event was hosted by Lindsay Young, Managing Director of Pipetech UK, May Britt Lilletvedt, Managing Director of Pipetech Norway and Leonard Hamill, Operations Manager of Pipetech UK.

“Pipetech has already demonstrated in Norway that it can offer a highly valuable solution to its customers and now we want our UK-based clients to have access to this technology which will help them increase efficiency and reduce cost,” said Lindsay Young.  “We are thrilled to be able to show what outstanding results Pipetech’s AquaMilling® and AquaSonic® systems deliver for the industry and are very pleased to have the opportunity to further promote our message – Cleaner, Faster, Safer!”
