Piren's Annual General Meeting on April 12, 2000 Piren's new main owner, Rodamco Continental Europe N.V. of the Netherlands, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Rodamco Northern Europe AB, jointly represented 99% of the shares and voting rights in Piren at the Annual General Meeting. Rodamco has announced that it intends to call for a compulsory redemption of the remaining shares in Piren. Therefore, this Annual General Meeting was in all likelihood the last for Piren as a listed company. Share dividend In accordance with the proposal of the Board of Directors, it was decided at the Annual General Meeting to distribute a dividend of SEK 1.75 per share and that the record date shall be Monday, April 17, 2000. Election of Board and auditors The following members were newly elected to the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting: Robert F.W. van Oordt, Belgium; Joost A. Bomhoff, Netherlands; and K. Willem Ledeboer, Netherlands. Lars Söderblom of Sweden was reelected. Robert van Oordt, Joost Bomhoff and Willem Ledeboer constitute the Management Board of Rodamco Continental Europe N.V. Lars Söderblom is the President of Piren. Authorized Public Accountants Leif Lundfors and Ingemar Nilsson were reelected as auditors. As Deputy auditors, Authorized Public Accountants Bengt Arnedal and Lars Bauman were reelected. All of the auditors are from Deloitte & Touche, Stockholm. Chairman of the Board At the statutory Board meeting held after the Annual General Meeting, Robert van Oordt was elected Chairman of the Board of Piren.
