For immediate release October 2009 PITMANS ACTS FOR MICROLIGHTS GROUP LTD IN ITS ACQUISITION OF MICROLIGHTS LTD Thames Valley award winning law firm Pitmans has acted on behalf of Microlights Group Ltd in its acquisition of Microlights Ltd for an undisclosed consideration. Microlights Ltd is a market leader in the design and manufacture of luminaires for the retail market worldwide. It has gained a wealth of expertise and an excellent reputation as one of the leading international retail lighting providers, with clients including Starbucks, Tesco Express, Debenhams, Faith, Toys R Us, Body Shop, Sony, Next, Harvey Nichols, Virgin and Selfridges, to name a few. Microlights Ltd will continue to manufacture from its head office in Marlborough, and the acquisition will enable the company to take advantage of greater purchasing opportunities. The transaction was led by Pitmans Corporate Partner, Stephanie Perry. Aurora Ltd (parent company of Microlights Group Ltd) is an international lighting, manufacturing and distribution business operating since 1999, distributing to 30 countries on an OEM basis and in the UK through wholesale, directly through the group’s franchise companies. It specialises in lighting for the worldwide market, selling over 3000 lighting products including control and power, designed for a wide range of interior and exterior lighting applications and target markets such as domestic, offices, hotels, retail, bars/clubs, restaurants, leisure and display/exhibitions.
