Original date: April 28, 2021
In order to structure and accelerate the work on a hydrogen plant based on a Memorandum of Understanding between Köping municipality and Plagazi in December 2019, a management group and a project working group have been formed.
The management group consists of the Chairman of the Municipal Council, Annika Duàn and the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee, Ola Saaw from Köping Municipality, Torsten Granberg, CEO Plagazi and Jörgen Andersson, Senior Advisor from Plagazi. Furthermore, this management group is chaired by Annika Duàn.
The first meeting of the management group was held on the 28th of April. At the same time, a working group of four people was formed, with the Technical Director of Köping, Christer Nordling as Chairman. From Plagazi, Stefan Källander, Patent & Technology, and Carl Lilliehöök, Project Leader Nordics, will be part of the group. The purpose of the working group is to have frequent meetings and resolve important practical issues that might occur.
The management group will steer the activities on the basis of common objectives and, if necessary, solve problems that arise. The common goal is to place a hydrogen production plant based on Plagazi’s patented plasma gasification process in Köping that both solve the municipality’s energy needs as well as other regional demand for green hydrogen.
