Plagazi AB (publ) ("Plagazi" or the "Company") has together with InEnTec Inc. (“InEnTec”) signed a significant pre-detailed engineering order which will lay the foundation for the complete engineering and design of Köping Hydrogen Park. The pre-detailed engineering work to be delivered by InEnTec will take place over several months and will lay the groundwork for the holistic front-end engineering design (“FEED”). The FEED for Plagazi Module 1 (“PM1”) will also play a vital role in the environmental permit application which was commenced earlier this year.

The FEED marks the initiation of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (“EPC”) project phase. During the FEED, Plagazi, together with the chosen EPC partner and sub-suppliers will deliver the holistic engineering, project execution schedule, final investment amount for procurement and construction, as well as final project ownership-, and operational structure, and finally, the legal contractual framework. During the FEED phase, the environmental permissions will also be completed together with Plagazi’s expert environmental consultants, WESCON.

InEnTec is Plagazi’s exclusive partner and main supplier of the plasma gasification island (1 of the 8 modules in a Plagazi HE-2000 plant). The plasma gasification step which will be utilized in the large-scale Swedish green hydrogen project, Köping Hydrogen Park, is the same model which has already been utilized across InEnTec’s commercial project portfolio. InEnTec’s Arlington plant, which initiated its operations in 2011, is also used as a live-scale proof-of-concept for Plagazi’s customers and has successfully demonstrated the recycling of several types of previously non-recyclable waste into industrial gases via plasma gasification since its initiation.

“The initiation of the FEED phase in Köping Hydrogen Park represents a substantial milestone for Plagazi. The company is one crucial step closer towards achieving its main objective of having the first commercial Plagazi plant up and running by 2025. We are also one crucial step closer towards launching our ground-breaking recycling process which can convert non-recyclable waste into green hydrogen at a highly competitive cost and at the same time significantly reducing CO2e emissions.” - Torsten Granberg, CEO Plagazi AB (publ)
