Plagazi announces “Project Selma” and the order for a Basic Engineering Study regarding multiple HE2000 Plagazi plants. The new customer, who asked to remain anonymous for now, is aiming to be one of Europe’s leading fossil-free steel producers.

To support this objective, the customer has contracted Plagazi to initiate “Project Selma”. The initial project step is a basic engineering study of multiple HE2000 Plagazi plants transforming waste into industrial gases contributing to the fossil-free steel production process. The Basic Engineering Study has a 3-month project horizon and will lay the foundation for future potential collaboration. Plagazi will partner with Dordtech Circular Solutions and SWECO for the Basic Engineering Study.

This order for a basic engineering study is a great opportunity for Plagazi, and we can clearly see the growing interest for our patented process in Europe. We are also seeing further commercial success within the steel production sector, which is an untapped market with significant potential to lower its environmental footprint using the Plagazi process. Our goal is to prove the potential of such a collaboration together with our new customer.” - Torsten Granberg, CEO Plagazi AB
