PLAGAZI ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO MANAGEMENT AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
As Plagazi increases its efforts to fully utilize the potential of its board of directors and properly bring their expertise into the operational aspects of the company, former CEO Torsten Granberg will, in addition to the previously announced transition to the position of Chairman of the Board at Plagazi, also assume the role of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Gustav Granberg, former COO, will take on the role of temporary CEO for Plagazi and lead the operational side of Plagazi while closely coordinating with the Board of Directors.
These changes mark a transitionary period for Plagazi, as Torsten, through his transition to Chairman of the Board, will aim to further enable the involvement of Plagazi’s respected Board, to ensure that their strengths and experiences are fully taken advantage of in a more active approach. While the Board has been occupied by very valuable members for a long time, Plagazi has the ambition to be able to utilize their skillsets and experience in a more actionable way, and improving this is the primary objective of this organisational shuffle.
Gustav will move from his previous role as COO to become CEO of Plagazi in the interim. From working closely with Torsten, the Board, and the management team of Plagazi during his role as CFO and, later, COO, Gustav has developed an understanding of the company and the direction in which it is heading to undertake the responsibilities that come with the CEO role. He will lead the general operations and direction of the company in close cooperation with the Board of Directors to ensure that the company accelerate its development and continues to capitalize on Plagazi’s strengths in the waste-to-hydrogen market.
