PLAGAZI ANNOUNCES MICHAEL ENGSTED AS CHIEF SALES OFFICER (CSO)
Plagazi can excitedly declare that Michael Engsted, previously Managing Director of Plagazi’s U.K. branch, has transitioned into the role of Chief Sales Officer (CSO), marking a much-needed addition to Plagazi’s management team. Michael brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the industrial gases, renewable energy and waste-to-energy markets, particularly from a sales and project development perspective, which will bolster the overall sales growth and client-nurturing capacity of Plagazi.
Michael Engsted has previously been actively involved in Plagazi as a Managing Director, building and maintaining client and project relationships in the British and European market segments. Coming from a combined engineering and finance background, Michael has built his career around the renewable energy sector in executive-level roles as well as currently undertaking several board seats in cutting edge technology and renewable energy companies.
Furthermore, Michael’s previous experiences include acting as Managing Director of AGA’s U.K. subsidiary, Managing Director of two environmental and renewables subsidiaries of Kingspan Environmental Ltd, acting as CEO of Weiss A/S, a developer of large-scale projects within the renewable energy sector, and being a senior board advisor to LBC Energy Advisory, a M&A boutique specializing in energy, infrastructure, and renewable energy sources.
Michael will now be further strengthening Plagazi’s client and project portfolios in both Europe and the U.K. and fills a position crucial to making sure our project pipeline, as well as our market reach, continues to progress and expand.
