PLAGAZI ANNOUNCES NEW SWISS ORDER

Original Date: April 12, 2021

Plagazi has been contracted by the Swiss Government, Federal Office of the Environment, to help establish the country’s Automotive Shredder Residue (ASR) waste recycling strategy. Today, a majority of the Swiss ASR waste is not recycled and dumped in landfills across the country, which constitutes a significant environmental and societal problem.

The country’s recyclability issues can be solved via the patented Plagazi process, which can convert ASR into pure green hydrogen at a competitive production cost and low CO2 footprint. The yearly quantity of ASR waste across Switzerland will be sufficient to fuel multiple Plagazi HE-2000 units for decades to come.

The customer has placed an order for a feasibility study which will lay the groundwork for a future collaboration. The study will be completed and delivered in October 2021 whereby the next steps of the project will be defined together with the customer.
