Plagazi's membership in the Swedish Wind Energy Association makes Plagazi the first company in the association working within the recycling sector.

Today, 85-90% of wind turbine can be recycled, but there are still challenges on how to treat its glass fibre composite materials. To push development forward, the wind energy industry has promised a total landfill ban during the year, opening up the market for innovative recycling processes.

"We are delighted to learn from Plagazi's know-how and expertise. Their patented technology converts the blade into hydrogen, completely free of emissions, and can therefore be an exciting option on the road to 100% recyclable wind turbines." - Daniel Badman, CEO of Svensk Vindenergi.

"Plagazi sees the membership in Svensk Vindenergi as very important as recycling of wind turbine blades is crucial for the sustainability of wind energy. Our patented process can take care of difficult to handle waste such as wind turbine blades and produce green hydrogen gas from them, which Plagazi wants to convey to the market and decision makers within the field. We see the membership as the right step on the way to accelerate the process of making wind turbines recyclable through our unique process." - Torsten Granberg, CEO Plagazi AB (publ)
