PLAGAZI ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS DURING EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

Plagazi AB (publ) has elected Richard J. Fish (former advisory board), Valerie Dujardin and Jorgo Chatzimarkakis as new members of the Board of Directors at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on the 20.12.2021. 

Linnea Granberg, Stefan Källander, Gustav Granberg and Peter Schmidt have resigned from their positions as members of the Board of Directors of Plagazi AB (publ), since they are all operational within the company. 

Richard J. Fish has held senior positions in private equity, energy and automotive/industrial, ranging from start-ups to well-established companies with a turnover of billions of USD. For the past 15 years, Richard has focused on the renewable energy sector, more precisely plasma gasification, where he most recently was CEO of the publicly traded Canadian company, Alter NRG which acquired Westinghouse Plasma Corporation (WPC). Alter NRG / Westinghouse Plasma Corporation (WPC) are engaged in the production of plasma gasification plants. During his 37-year career, Richard has led turnarounds, developed strategies, driven internal process improvements and improved performance and growth for numerous international companies. Richard possesses invaluable knowledge and experience within Waste-2-Energy via Plasma Gasification and has supported Plagazi for several years as Senior Advisor.

Valerie Dujardin has 20 years of experience in sustainability investing and is a leading profile with board and advisor positions in several well-established sustainability companies and impact funds. Valerie also has experience in banking and specialist asset management from Proparco, MSCI Inc and finally Symbiotics where she is Chairman of Symbiotics SICAV which operates several of the group’s impact investment funds. Her experience ranges from conducting due diligence for projects, structuring funds, managing funds and more recently leading a team of fund managers. Valerie's financial experience, commitment and contact network in the sustainability sector will be of great value in bringing Plagazi's project portfolio to fruition.

Jorgo Chatzimarkakis is currently CEO of Hydrogen Europe, which is the leading European organization in the field of hydrogen and the establishment of the hydrogen community. Hydrogen Europe represents over 260 leading European companies active in the production of hydrogen or hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen Europe is a focal point for various industry players, large and small, providing expertise and production of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality in the world through hydrogen production.
