PLAGAZI HAS BEEN SELECTED TO CLEANTECH GROUP’S 2022 TOP 50 COMPANIES TO WATCH
Plagazi AB (publ) (“Plagazi” or the “Company”) was elected to Cleantech Group’s (“Cleantech”) yearly top 50 companies to watch. The Cleantech 50 to Watch is an annual list of top global early-stage private companies showcased for their excellence in sustainable innovation. The entrepreneurs on the list are creating new technologies that are poised to address the climate crisis in plastics, regenerating soils, recycling building materials, automating food waste and transforming solar power.
To create the list, inputs are combined from the Cleantech 50 to Watch expert panel of 31 leading investors, corporate and industrial executives who are active in technology and innovation scouting.
The panel nominated the companies that impressed them with their early-stage high-impact solutions. The nominated companies were then combined with Cleantech’s own research on public early-stage awards and put the companies through qualitative and impact filters. An impressive total of 1219 companies were reviewed and scored by the expert panel to reach the final 50.
The Cleantech 50 to Watch companies are located in 18 countries. These innovators are delivering sustainable solutions in these six sectors:
· Agriculture & Food
· Energy & Power
· Materials & Chemicals
· Resources & Environment
· Transportation & Logistics
· Enabling Technologies
“These new, young, rising star companies with high impact solutions are poised to help combat the climate crisis,” said Richard Youngman, CEO, Cleantech Group. “These solutions should be inspiring our corporate and political leaders to ramp up their actions and close the wide gap between their net zero words and the actions needed to stimulate stronger demand for such innovation.”
Plagazi will be present at Cleantech's '2022 Cleantech Forum Europe' event November 8-10th in Brussels as a selected participant.
During the year, Plagazi has been identified and showcased in several media outlets, as well as being invited to speak and present the Plagazi Process at various sustainability conferences, and finally been awarded with the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label. The recent recognition of Plagazi’s Patented Process is mainly due to how well-positioned the technology is in Europe’s transition to climate neutrality but also due to the company’s marketing efforts. Reaching Cleantech’s Top 50 to Watch list is a huge feat of strength and the organization attracts many multi-national companies from various nations who are committed to investing for a climate-neutral future.
