Dr. Fernando Sánchez and his wife, Dr. Amaia Bilbao, founded the Dental Dávila dental clinic in the Spanish town of Santander over 15 years ago. Over time, it has grown from a small clinic into a dental centre with several dentists working in different specialties.

The Dental Dávila clinic has always kept up with the latest advances in dentistry. “We were among the first in our community to purchase a CBCT unit and an intraoral scanner. Digital dentistry is our passion,” Sánchez says.

Planmeca has been the clinic’s choice since day one. When looking for an equipment provider, Sánchez asked around for recommendations and Planmeca’s name kept coming up. “Everyone told me that it was a very high-quality brand and definitely worth the investment.”

At the moment, the clinic is equipped with a Planmeca ProMax® 3D Classic CBCT unit and several Planmeca Compact™ i Classic dental units. “We have been using the CBCT unit daily and have been more than satisfied with the excellent image quality and the usability of the software. The technical service offered by Planmeca’s distributor also deserves a special mention. The service has been simply excellent.”

The staff at Dental Dávila enjoys working with Planmeca’s dental units due to their excellent ergonomics, avant-garde design and great working comfort. “The patients, in turn, always tell us how comfortable the patient chairs are. Our dental units have viscoelastic upholstery which makes them especially comfortable.”

The clinic already has plans for their next investment, which includes the new Planmeca Solanna™ Vision operating light with integrated 4K cameras. “We are especially interested in the surgical navigation possibilities that will be provided by the operating light in the future. We are also planning to start designing surgical guides with the Romexis® Implant Guide module,” Sánchez says.
