Plastipak Packaging (formerly APPE), a world leader in rigid plastic innovation with over 30 years’ experience, is showcasing its PET technology for the beverage industry on Stand 125 in Hall 4 at BrauBeviale 2015, on 10-12 November.

Plastipak acquired APPE on 1st July 2015, creating a single European entity comprising 14 production plants in 12 different countries. The move has augmented Plastipak’s position in Europe, providing a solid platform for further growth and complements Plastipak’s other regional businesses in North America, South America, as well as the recent expansion in to China.

With an award-winning range of rigid plastic preforms, bottles and wide-neck containers, Plastipak leads the way in beverage packaging innovation, producing standard and custom bottle designs with various closure options, including crown caps, aluminium or plastic wine closures and screw-caps.

To make sure products reach the consumer in perfect condition, without compromising taste, quality or appearance, Plastipak has developed a range of revolutionary active and passive barrier solutions. Barrier technologies can extend product shelf-life by protecting sensitive beverages from the effects of UV light, oxygen ingress and/or CO2 egress.

As a leading player in the European PET preform, bottle and container market, Plastipak will launch a new product, specifically aimed at the beer beverage market, at BrauBeviale.

Visitors and media representatives are invited to visit their stand (#125 in Hall 4) at the earliest opportunity to find out more about this exciting new addition to the Plastipak’s range of PET products.

Media packs supporting this product launch will be made available on stand throughout the exhibition and Plastipak representatives will be on hand to discuss the finer detail.
