This is welcomed news to the 450 colleges and universities around the world who plan to recruit from over 350,000 students through CollegeWeekLive’s events in the Fall.  The Fall 2011 schedule includes:

“Over the past 3 months we’ve added over 100 new colleges and we’ve seen a 103% increase in single-day event attendance of students. We realized that we needed to increase our event coverage to meet this demand,” said Robert Rosenbloom, CEO CollegeWeekLive.  “We are pleased to welcome a cross section of great schools, including the University of Chicago, Oklahoma State, and Pepperdine, and the State University of New York (SUNY) System to our program.”

Beyond helping students connect with colleges through their online events, CollegeWeekLive has also partnered with education leaders on key events.  These include Edward Fiske, author of the renowned “Fiske Guide to College” and US Senator Sherrod Brown, who will deliver a keynote address at CollegeWeekLive Ohio Day.  Fall events will include over 100 live video presentations, covering topics from how to write a fantastic college essay to how to afford the school of your choice.  These video presentations from noted experts help students navigate the complex process of college admissions and allows them to ask these experts questions throughout the presentations.  Rosenbloom offers, “Where else can students ask Edward Fiske a direct question about choosing a college and actually get an immediate answer?  That is what makes CWL unique.”

CollegeWeekLive is also pleased to announce the launch a new online platform product to allow their college clients to hold an unlimited number of events for their prospective and current students.  This platform will be used by such schools as Stanford, University of New Haven, St. Johns, UC Riverside, and Miami Dade.  “Our custom platform really is a win-win solution.  In these economic times, it is just not possible for students and admissions officers to travel all across the globe visiting schools.  We provide a low-cost scalable solution,” explains Rosenbloom.
