Swedish startup Plotagon to “Silicon Valley - The World Cup Tech Challenge 2014”

Plotagon has been nominated as one of the finalists to compete in the prestigious startup competition “Launch: Silicon Valley 2014 - The World Cup Tech Challenge”. Plotagon will be present in Silicon Valley on the 20th of May presenting it’s new app that within seconds transforms text to 3D-animated videos. The jury consists of some of the top investors in Silicon Valley.

”Plotagon is an app for a social generation. We believe that everyone has stories to tell and those stories deserve to be shared. We want to make it possible for our users to express themselves in a new way and at the same time be creative. Plotagon combines the best of worlds; storytelling and moving images”, Jonathan Hise Kaldma, Chief Design Officer at Plotagon says. Plotagon has earlier been featured in some of Americas most influential tech- and design-magazines including Fast Company, TechCrunch and Gizmodo. Fast Company awarded Plotagon as one of the 21 best designed apps of 2013. Now it’s Silicon Valley’s turn to get their share of the Swedish startup. 200 startups from different parts of the world applied to “Launch: Silicon Valley 2014 - The World Cup Tech Challenge” where 30 companies has been nominated in five different categories: Digital Media, HealthTech, NextGen Technology, EdTech and Enterprise Software. On the 20th of May 2014 Plotagon will be in Silicon Valley presenting their version for iPad, PC and Mac in the category Digital Media. ”The technology behind the application is advanced but it’s nothing our users will notice.
