CPS Color GmbH establishes a new Service Competence Center in Hückelhoven, Germany

CPS Color GmbH has moved its office from Bornich to Hückelhoven. The new 460-m2 facility includes offices, an equipment and spare parts warehouse and a showroom for the tinting equipment range. “The new premises enable us to establish a real Service Competence Center in Hückelhoven,” says Thomas Engels, Service Manager CE and Head of the GmbH operations in Hückelhoven. “Our vision is that in the near future our German organization will be an example of a professional and efficiently-working CPS Color Service Competence Center.” The new office is located in a business park and only 25 km from Sittard, the Netherlands, where CPS Color has one of its colorant production facilities. “Taking advantage of the new location, our service people will be able to collaborate more closely with their colorant R&D and factory colleagues in the Netherlands,” continues Mr. Engels. “Our service staff have close connections to users of our tinting equipment in Germany, so they can provide valuable feedback to our colorant development and production people.” In the new premises, CPS Color GmbH can pre-install customer equipment, organize equipment inventory for customers, and clean and renew used equipment to prolong its life. The possibility of organizing a telephone service center for customers and spare parts distribution from Hückelhoven offers the potential to further expand the services provided by the new Competence Center. ”Our ability to serve German and other Central European customers has improved tremendously with the opening of this new Service Competence Center,” adds Sven Heutz, Account Manager for Germany and Key Accounts. “We will have a complete set of products in the showroom, including dispensers, mixers, shakers and different software products. The short distance between Sittard and Hückelhoven will enable customers who are interested in our total solution to see both the colorant operations in Sittard and the equipment, software products and service operations in Hückelhoven, all in one day. This is a unique possibility for customers in Europe and shows CPS Color’s target to be the global benchmark provider of color solutions.” CPS Color’s Service Competence Center will also be offering special training facilities in the near future to coach internal and external service technicians. Some of the 11 employees of CPS Color GmbH work at the new premises, while most of them operate in the field as close to the customers as possible, forming the service network in Germany.
