poLight ASA – follow-on order from an Augmented Reality customer

Horten, 16 August 2022 - poLight ASA (OSE: PLT) today announced that the company has received a follow-on mass production purchase order related to an Augmented Reality (AR) product. The design-win and first mass production purchase order was announced on 1st December 2021.

The value of this purchase order is approximately NOK 1.2 million and is expected to be fully delivered during 2022. Customer’s AR product market launch is planned to be in 2022.

“The AR market is advancing through an important phase, and we expect to see several companies releasing new AR head-worn products in the coming years. TLens is being considered by several important AR market players. In addition to the already announced design-win, we are engaged in five design-ins and five ongoing Proof-of-Concepts in the AR space.
