Tønsberg, 13 February 2025 - poLight ASA (OSE: PLT) today announced that the company has received a purchase order worth NOK 729,000 to supply its TWedge® wobulator evaluation kits to a top tier consumer OEM customer for an AR application.

“We are excited about the continued momentum our unique TWedge® wobulator pixel-shifting technology is building for the AR microdisplay market as evidenced by the growing list of customer evaluations,” said Dr. Øyvind Isaksen, CEO of poLight ASA. “TWedge® wobulator is based on the same tunable optics technology platform as our TLens® product used in numerous auto focus imaging systems.  While our TWedge® wobulator technology still needs many steps from current technical samples stage to productization and potential mass production supply into customer devices, this customer order marks another important milestone for our TWedge® wobulator technology.  We are encouraged by the elevating enthusiastic interests from many of our customers and partners as we’ve also garnered from our recent SPIE AR|VR|MR 2025 exhibition.  In addition, this customer also has an active Proof of Concept project with our TLens® product to differentiate their head-worn AR/MR imaging device, which validates that both our TLens® and TWedge® wobulator technology can solve several design challenges the AR/MR industry is facing.”

The delivery of TWedge® evaluation kits to this customer is expected to be completed within Q1 2025.
