MALMÖ, Sweden (February 23 , 2016) – Polygiene, the world leader in odor control and freshness technology, came home from Las Vegas, Nev., and Munich, Germany with two major awards. Gray’s Sporting Journal named a Polygiene-treated layer from hunting brand Sitka “Best of the Best” at the SHOT Show and a new Polygiene-treated glove from Kombi received a prestigious ISPO AWARD.

Award winning The Essential 3-in-1 Mitt by Kombi

“It’s great to see our partners receiving recognition for their best-in-class products,” states Polygiene CEO, Christian von Uthmann. “Odor-control is an increasingly important consideration for consumers when they’re shopping and these awards help tell the Polygiene story.”

Gray’s Sporting Journal presented the Polygiene treated Sitka CORE Hoody with a coveted 2016 Best of the Best award at the SHOT Show. The Sitka CORE Hoody wicks away moisture while keeping hunters concealed. The layer works as a next-to-skin foundation for high-exertion hunting, actively moving moisture away from the skin. The addition of Polygiene neutralizes stink by stopping the growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi.

At ISPO in Germany, Polygiene’s partner Kombi was recognized by the International Trade Fair for Sports Equipment and Fashion for the Essential 3-in-1 mitt. The Kombi Essential 3-in-1 mitt is designed for female skiers looking for an exceptionally warm winter mitt. The gloves feature goatskin leather, goose down insulation and a Primaloft® grip control on the palm. Polygiene keeps hands smelling fresh, no matter how toasty they get.
