Polymer Factory receives second payment under EDF grant
Polymer Factory Sweden AB (publ) has today received the second payment from the European Defence Fund (EDF) under the grant that was announced in December 2022. The second partial payment amounts to approx. SEK 2,8 million.
In December 2022, Polymer Factory announced that the Company will receive a grant from the EDF for participation in the project NanoSHIELD, which aims to develop protective equipment against CNBR (chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear) threats. Polymer Factory’s role in the project is to contribute with polymers to be implemented in the equipment.
The project has now passed the half-time evaluation, and today, the Company has received the second instalment of approx. €230,000, amounting to approx. SEK 2,8 million.
Upon receipt of this payment, the Company has also re-paid the loan that was taken out in August 2024.
