Itella Information at the 8th EXPP Summit in Berlin

Insights on Itella Information’s e-services offering and e-invoicing implementations will be provided at the 8th EXPP Summit in Berlin, on September 24-25. Companies interested in e-invoicing assessments may address their inquiries at the open discussion sessions at Itella’s booth. Event participants are also invited to attend the “E-invoicing as part of a contract-to-cash process” presentation held by KONE Corporation, Itella’s guest at EXPP.

Itella Information is a service provider and sponsor at the EXPP Summit. Company representatives will gladly offer indications and details on implementation of e-invoicing to all companies interested in adopting e-invoicing or fine-tuning their current e-invoicing processes.

The event is expected to bring together over 300 experts and end-users from more than 35 countries, to attend round tables and discussions on the topics of e-invoicing, e-billing and e-documents. The event is being organized with the cooperation of Billentis, a company specialized in consultancy and market analyses focusing on e-invoicing and financial outsourcing matters.

As the 2012 “Billentis Report” concludes, paper-based invoice management is getting more expensive and companies all over the world are showing a greater interest in financial supply chain optimization areas. Implementing e-invoicing capabilities is one of these areas and approximately 1.2 million companies in Europe are expected to adopt e-invoicing in 2012.

Automation by electronic invoicing enables companies to achieve rapid cost savings, and secure improved financial processes, as e-invoicing facilitates the business relationships between buying organizations and their suppliers.

When implementing e-invoicing projects, several aspects have to be considered:

  • Does the planned process automation allow the company adopting e-invoicing to optimize its financial flow, with the improvements affecting as many suppliers and customers as possible, within the shortest time frame possible?
  • Does the executive board understand that value is generated through multiple aspects, and not all of these are directly visible (such as transparency, control etc.)?
  • What are the existing and potential technical capabilities and what are the costs related to them (is there a fix value, as it should be)?
  • What are that particular company’s success indicators?

In order to present concrete examples of success drivers and challenges in invoicing projects from a customer perspective and make them available to a wider audience, Itella Information has invited KONE to talk about the key facts in the contract-to-cash process. The presentation is scheduled to take place at 14:30 on September 24th, in Stream C.
