PostNord divests the real estate property in central Copenhagen where its Danish headquarter and mail terminal are located to Danica Pension for 925 MDKK.

The deal will take effect on June 30, 2015. PostNord will thereafter sublease required office and logistics space until 2018, but gradually move to premises that are more optimal for future operations.

”We are very satisfied to have signed a deal with Danica Pension that has the vision to develop the property and create a new city district. For PostNord this will increase our capital efficiency and thereby our possibility to become more flexible in the rapidly changing market. We are now intensifying our work to find better suited premises for our operations”, says Håkan Ericsson, President and Group CEO.
