PostNord signs new contract with Nya Wermlands-Tidningens AB
The PostNord subsidiary Tidningstjänst AB has signed a contract with Nya Wermlands-Tidningens AB for the distribution of the Group’s 13 daily papers, including Arvika Nyheter, Enköpings-Posten, Karlskoga-Kuriren, Nya Wermlands-Tidningen, NWT, and Skaraborgs Allehanda.
Through Tidningstjänst, PostNord distributes daily newspapers in Skaraborg, northern Dalsland, Värmland, Enköping/Bro Bålsta, Gästrikland, Dalarna, Hälsingland, Medelpad, Jämtland, Härjedalen, Ångermanland, Västerbotten and Norrbotten.
“We’re proud to have been asked to sign a new contract spanning several years with Nya Wermlands-tidningens AB. It means that we are deepening and extending our excellent cooperation with a customer that is very important to us,” says Leif Persson, CEO at Tidningstjänst.
“I sometimes hear that such a large group of newspapers as NWT should start its own distribution company. I don’t agree with that. Our main task isn’t distribution – it’s producing newspapers that are worth reading. We’re a loyal customer of Tidningstjänst because we know we can rely on our deliveries arriving at the right recipient at the right time,” says Lars Ander, President, Nya Wermlands-Tidningen.
The contract was signed on September 6, 2013.
The NWT Group comprises a parent company, two wholly owned subsidiaries and an associated company that is active in areas including daily newspapers, free newspapers, internet publications and property. Read more at www.nwt.se
