    Interim report January-September 2013: Focus on execution and capturing effects

    Message from Håkan Ericsson, President and CEO PostNord’s net sales for the third quarter were up 4 percent year-on-year as a result of acquisitions. Excluding acquisitions and currency effects, net sales were largely unchanged, a reflection of the continued dramatic decline in mail volumes and the acquired and organic growth within the Logistics business. The e-commerce market continued to grow strongly in the Nordic region. PostNord’s operating profit improved year-on-year in the quarter due to sales growth, lower restructuring costs and the efficiency improvements and adaptations

    Henrik Höjsgaard leaves PostNord

    Henrik Höjsgaard will leave his position as President of PostNord Logistics. He will take up a position in a non-competitive business outside PostNord.Henrik Höjsgaard became head of Posten’s logistics business in 2007. He has been heading the business area Logistics in PostNord since the group was formed in 2009.- With Henrik Höjsgaard as head, PostNord Logistics has developed a strong position in the Nordic logistics market and I wish to thank him for his great efforts, says PostNord’s President and CEO Håkan Ericsson.The date of Henrik Höjsgaard’s retirement will be determined
