Michael O’Connor Lends Millions of Dollars Worth in Jewelry for The Red Carpet Weekend

Guests had the opportunity to borrow from over $30 million worth of jewelry for the biggest award show of the season and related parties.

Michael O’Connor, leading style expert and host of MovieStyle with Michael O’Connor on Reelz Channel, curated a selection of dazzling and unique pieces from world-renowned brands such as Alex Soldier, American Gem Trade Association, Farah Khan, Jeffrey Daniels Unique Designs for Gem Platinum, Jewelry by Gail, J&Y Rocks, Mark Lash, Takat, and The Argyle Diamond Collection, among others.

Here’s the scoop on what celebrities and their stylists were eyeing for the Academy Awards, and surrounding red carpet parties.

Sofia Milos gravitated towards a pair of opal earrings (32.70 carats) accented with white diamonds (2.70 carats) from Dallas Prince for the American Gem Trade Association, priced at $36,895. Jeneba Tarmoh was excited to try on a headpiece from Paula Crevoshay for the Talisman Collection and the American Gem Trade Association. The design featured red spinel, pearls, and diamonds (over 28 total carats), priced at $73,200.

Ashley Finke was a big fan of a bracelet from Alex Soldier featuring Japanese amethyst (100 carats) and white topaz, priced at $4,000.

Brandi Glanville looked stunning in a flower design choker set in platinum, by IDH Titanium for The Argyle Diamond Collection. It featured a delicate flower design, enhanced by diamonds (25.72 carats), priced at $200,000. David Gropman admired cufflinks from Casa Gi for The Argyle Diamond Collection, priced at $5,500. The Argyle Diamond Collection showcases the beauty of a variety of shades of diamonds available from the Argyle mine in Australia.

Carol Rodriguez couldn’t wait to try on the emerald pieces. She sparkled in a Zambian emerald and diamond ring from Farah Khan (22.91 total carats), priced at $25,886. Carol also loved the Zambian emerald cut emerald (13.05 carats) and diamond ring (5.96 carats) by Takat, priced at $80,000.

A pair of diamond spider earrings from J&Y Rocks, priced at $6,932, enamored Alanna Ubach.

Erik Aadahl and his fiancée were obsessed with diamond drop earrings (7.23 carats) from Jeffrey Daniels Unique Designs for Gem Platinum, priced at $75,000.

Ethan Van Der Ryn’s wife fancied a morganite and diamond necklace from Jewelry By Gail, priced at $42,500.

Levy Easterly favored a pair of onyx, pearl, and diamond cufflinks from Mark Lash, priced at $4,380.

Many other designs featured in StyleLab’s Jewelry Event for the 85th Annual Academy Awards were selected by Hollywood’s biggest stars for the red carpet and parties. Final jewelry confirmations will be disclosed following the red carpet today.
