Precise Biometrics launches Tactivo™ for iPad mini and Tactivo for iPad Air
Tactivo for iPad mini has been approved by Apple and is now ready for global launch.
Precise Biometrics now launches its first smart casing for iPad mini. Tactivo for iPad mini has achieved MFi certification from Apple as well as approval as LACS (Logical Access Control System) Mobile Transparent Reader under the FIPS 201 Testing Program and is thereby ready for global launch. In addition, Tactivo for iPad Air is currently undergoing the final certifications and is expected to be ready for launch in the very near future.
The new products in the Tactivo product family have a one-piece design, further improving the user experience. With these releases, Precise Biometrics has a complete portfolio of Tactivo products for all available iPhone and iPad versions.
With the two new Tactivo smart cases, Precise Biometrics also launches silicone Guardian Cases that covers and protects both Tactivo and iPad. The Guardian Case is ideal for usage in tough environments, for example within health care and military forces.
Tactivo for iPad mini and Tactivo for iPad Air both include a smart card reader. Together with apps and solutions from Precise Biometrics’ partners, Tactivo enables government agencies and enterprises to maintain a high level of security when employees use mobile devices to access sensitive information. Tactivo supports both traditional smart cards, such as the US Government PIV and CAC cards and the Swedish SITHS card, as well as payment chip cards.
Precise Biometrics will show these new products at Connect:ID in Washington DC March 18th-19th.
