Precision Dialogue Receives USPS Mail Solutions Award for Outstanding Success at 2013 National Postal Forum

Precision Dialogue, an analytics-driven, multi-channel marketing services provider, was recognized by the US Postal Service at the March 2013 Postal Forum for an innovative mailing solution that delivered a significant increase in customer acquisition while reducing total cost per contact.

As direct mail costs continue to rise, marketers are migrating toward more targeted, tested, relevant and creative acquisition and retention campaigns. “A/B and multivariate testing are commonly used to gauge the performance of multiple versions of a mail piece,” stated Orgler. “What we offer in our Precision Experience LabSM is an unprecedented first look into how potential customers interact with and evaluate direct mail pieces at the creative concept stage.”

Working in partnership with a national retail client, Precision Dialogue’s designers created a series of direct mail pieces consistent with the company’s new brand guidelines. “Our state-of-the‐art research lab was used to observe and measure user behavior as study participants viewed each creative concept,” stated Orgler. “Eye tracking was also included to evaluate what recipients actually saw, including key focus areas and dwell times.” The final design incorporated recommendations from Precision Dialogue’s customer experience experts based on actual consumer insights derived from the study. The engagement also included an enhanced data-driven contact selection process and email marketing campaign.
