AWARD WINNING MANUFACTURER ENCOURAGES EXCELLENCE
bpi.recycled products - Europe’s leading manufacturer of polythene refuse and recycling sacks and a business that advocates excellence - is supporting a category at this year’s FoodService Packaging Association (FPA) Awards. The business will be the sole sponsor of the Marketing Trophy at the Awards – one of the most prestigious for any organisation involved in the supply of food and non-food items to restaurants, school canteens, hospital cafeterias, hotels and other catering operations. “bpi.recycled products is no stranger to awards success” explains Lorcan Mekitarian, Sales Director from the business. “We’ve recently picked up a number of accolades of our own including Manufacturer of the Year and Best Marketing Innovation of the Year. As such, we’re only too happy to be involved in an initiative that recognises and rewards those with a similar commitment to the highest standards.” bpi.recycled products was crowned Manufacturer of the Year at last year’s FPA Awards, securing victory in a category where the eventual winner was chosen through vote of FPA member companies, which now total over a 100. This year’s ceremony will be co-hosted by impressionist Kevin Connelly of BBC TV’s Dead Ringer’s fame and will take place on the 18th March at The Belfry. The evening will also play host to a charity auction to raise funds for three important charities – Hospitality Action (www.hospitalityaction.org.uk), Springboard (www.springboarduk.net) and T4Toby (www.t4toby.com).
