In line with its forward thinking approach, leading manufacturer of silage balewrap and silage sheeting bpi.agri has revealed it will be among the exhibitors at the first ever Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Show (AMES). Taking place on Wednesday 3rd February 2010 at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, this brand new event is being staged by the Royal Bath & West Society - organisers of both the Dairy Show and Grassland UK. Louise Aplin, Marketing Manager from bpi.agri, explains: “As a progressive and pioneering organisation, bpi.agri has always embraced new ways of engaging with the people who actually use our products. To this end, we already enjoy a busy exhibition schedule and regularly stage events like our unique balewrapping clinics. We hope our attendance at AMES will enable us to build on that track record.” She continues: “As with other, more established shows, AMES will allow us to talk to farmers and agricultural contractors face-to-face, to listen to their views on our products and to hear about the particular challenges they face in creating good quality ensiled fodder. This feedback is invaluable and is used by bpi.agri to help develop new products and service initiatives.” At the free event, which aims to be a one-stop show for any agricultural machinery or farm supply need, bpi.agri also intends to promote its Silotite®, Polybale® and Visqueen Poliwrap® balewraps. All three products enjoy firm favour with the UK’s farming community thanks to their ability to deliver impressive performance along with exceptional reliability and ease of use. In addition, visitors to the bpi.agri stand, which is situated in the Showering Pavilion and next to leading balewrapping machinery company McHale, will also be to get a first glimpse of the manufacturer’s new Visqueen Clingseal® product. Due for launch later this year, Visqueen Clingseal® is a clamp film which looks set to further enhance the already impressive performance of bpi.agri’s Visqueen Agri-S silage sheet. A number of bpi.agri’s most experienced staff will also be on hand to answer technical questions and offer advice on balewrapping best practice. Plus, these individuals will be complemented by representatives from leading collector of waste farm plastics, Birch Farm Plastics, who will be able to offer guidance on how to dispose of material like used balewrap in a greener, more efficient way. bpi.agri continues to work closely with Birch as part of its commitment to being a responsible and environmentally aware manufacturer. Summing up, Louise Aplin adds: “This may be the first ever AMES but rest assured, bpi.agri hasn’t held back on its plans. Reflecting our commitment to the event and to the wider farming industry, we’ve gone all out to create a stand that offers something for everyone - whether they’re an existing user of our products or not.” For more information about bpi.agri and its range of high performance silage balewrap and silage sheet, visit www.bpiagri.com - Ends - IMAGES: bpi agri display.jpg CAPTION: New event, same staunch commitment.
