Precision’s high-performance space-saver
Precision says its HSS 340 prep counter packs a punch. It’s built to the USA standard of 48” (1220mm) wide but, despite its compact size, it’s a real heavyweight when it comes to performance and construction. With pressure on kitchen space getting ever tighter, the company says the two-door HSS340 offers the perfect space-saving solution.
The prep counter is made of stainless steel throughout and is designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 43°C – so it can handle life in the busiest, hottest kitchens. The bottom-mounted refrigeration system draws and vents from the front, so it can be fully built in to the tightest space.
The HSS340 has a well accepting up to six 1/3GN pans to keep ingredients close at hand, plus 340 litres of chilled undercounter storage. An insulted, stainless steel pan cover minimises energy consumption and keeps ingredients safe during quiet periods.
As well as being ideal for busy kitchens, the Precision prep counter is good looking, so it’s equally well-suited to front of house use, in theatre kitchens and take away counters. Striking design features include the oversize digital controller, flush door handles and stylish grills.
The HSS 340 is 745mm deep and 915mm high. The two doors can be replaced by banks of drawers. Part of Precision’s Space saver range, it is available through dealers nationwide. The list price is £3,050 plus VAT.
