Bond It breathes new life into old drives

With summer now upon us and people looking to make more of the outside of their homes, Bond It has relaunched its Drive Alive range. These innovative products, which include cleaners, stain removers, pothole fillers and colour restorers, provide an easy and cost effective way to breathe new life into old driveways.

Kirstie Cooper, Marketing Manager from the leading manufacturer of building chemicals, sealants, adhesives and grouts, explains: "Since being introduced to the market, the Drive Alive range has seen a steady growth in popularity.

“However, as part our commitment to continuous product development we wanted to improve on some of its already impressive performance characteristics. This included the range's ease of use and environmental credentials. It's been a case of taking great products and making them even better."

Bond It's Drive Alive range, which can be used not only on drives but also on pathways, patios, other paved, tarmac or concrete areas, walls and even roofs, is based around a simple to follow three step system.

Step one entails the application of an environmentally friendly, biodegradable stain remover which effectively removes unsightly oil and grease stains.

Step two involves the use of an organic cleaner which removes all types of moss, moulds, algae and lichens, usually in just one application.

Step three products provide the finishing touch and include colour enhancers for weathered concrete and block paving, back-to-black tarmac restorers and clear coat sealants which can protect revitalised surfaces from water penetration, further staining or future dirt and grime build up.

These three step products are also complemented by a number of additional and ancillary items such as pothole and gap fillers as well as membranes to prevent weed growth. There is also a dedicated Drive Alive website – www.yourdrivealive.co.uk - which enables stockists and end-users to learn more about the innovative range and how to employ it to maximum effect.

Concluding, Kirstie adds: "Whether you're tiling, laying floors, sealing surfaces or revitalising driveways, Bond It is committed to offering products that make the job quicker, easier and more effective.

“The introduction of new formulations across our Drive Alive range is all part and parcel of that commitment. Its relaunch is indicative of fact that it now includes a new generation of solutions able to deliver next generation results.”
