Leading manufacturer of refuse and recycling sacks, bpi.recycled products has extended its award winning Green Sack® range. The business has recently launched a new Green Sack® Compostable Kitchen Caddy Liner which offers households a hygienic, practical and sustainable means of collecting their compostable waste.

Ideal for kitchen and general food waste, the new kitchen caddy liners are supplied in 7 to 10 litre capacities and are fully compliant with EN 13432:2000 - the EU standard for compostable and biodegradable packaging. Not only does their 100% compostable nature help to divert waste from landfill, but they are produced from starch based polymers - a renewable resource. They are also ideal for use by the growing number of schemes looking to use bio-waste as a fuel for renewable energy.

Commenting on the launch of the new Green Sack® Compostable Kitchen Caddy Liner, Rachael Barton, Marketing Manager at bpi.recycled products, said: “At bpi.recycled products we’re committed to developing practical waste management solutions that also allow our customers to benefit from improved green credentials. The new Green Sack Kitchen Caddy Liners are a perfect example of that commitment and we’re confident they will prove a popular choice with those individuals and organisations who care about both product performance and the environment.”
