bpi.recycled products reveals MDD plans
With this years’ MDD Expo rapidly approaching, bpi.recycled products has announced its plans for the international trade exhibition for the retail, wholesale and distribution sectors. At the event, the British-based business will not only be promoting its range of high performance refuse and recycling sacks but will also be looking to build on its success in the UK by finding new distributers and commercial opportunities on the continent.
Already a European market leader in the manufacture of polythene films and refuse sacks, bpi.recycled products will use its stand at the show (Stand E3, Pavilion 3, Non-food section) to promote the benefits of its flagship Green Sack® range. As well as helping users to reduce their carbon footprint by 50%, Green Sacks will also be instrumental in helping retailers and distributors across Europe to build a greener future.
Manufactured from 100% recycled polythene, these refuse sacks not only help to divert waste from landfill but they are also produced from European waste at European facilities. This ensures reduced product miles compared to most other refuse sacks which are typically produced overseas – most notably in the Far East.
Aside from their impressive green credentials, Green Sacks also offer superior levels of strength compared to other refuse sacks whilst being made from 33% less material. This is due to the fact that large volumes of agricultural waste are used in their production. Using advanced technology, bpi.recycled products is then able to remanufacture this material in a way that retains much of its original durability.
In addition, bpi.recycled products will also be showcasing a number of products from its wider range of refuse sacks. Specifically, this includes sacks with a variety of closure methods such as drawstring and tie-top, compostable kitchen caddy liners and point of sale retail sacks.
Commenting on bpi.recycled products’ plans for the exhibition, Rachael Barton, Marketing Manager at the business, said: “As one of the UK’s leading own-label manufacturers of refuse and recycling sacks, we’re committed to providing sustainable solutions that deliver superior levels of performance. Our refuse sack range, and the Green Sack® in particular, is the perfect example of this commitment.
“As a business, bpi.recycled products has already enjoyed phenomenal success in the UK and now we’re looking to build on this still further. MDD Expo 2012 is the ideal event to showcase our products to a global market and will also allow us to establish new partnerships in Europe.”
The MDD show is held in Paris at the Port de Versailles from 3rd to the 4th April. For more information on the show, visit http://www.mdd-expo.com/homepage.
